Rebecca Priestley

Rebecca is one of my PhD supervisors, along with Rhian. The two of them are the reasons I took the PhD opportunity when it arose, and it was Rebecca’s name that jumped out when I read the scholarship call as she had recently won the Prime Minister's Science Communication Prize. She is ‘an interdisciplinary scholar and creative non-fiction writer who works at the boundary between science and the humanities.’  Rebecca is hugely prolific. She seems to get an awful lot done incredibly competently, which is a little intimidating! She is also a very generous and encouraging supervisor.
